Yougler originally started out as to receive spam-free email on the Internet. Email harvesters scan the Internet looking for email addresses they can add to their lists and then they sell these lists to spammers who then proceed to fill up your inbox with unwanted and often disgusting email solicitations.
You may have noticed in your travels on the Internet that many web sites have contact pages where visitors can contact the site owner. This is done to prevent spam. These type pages are called mail forwards or form mail pages. These contact pages prevent the site owner from getting spam because they do not reveal his email address anywhere on the site.
Mail forwards are basically server-side scripts that take the information you input into the form and then forward the message to a hidden email address that is kept securely on the server. Since the email address is not revealed, the website owner gets no unwanted spam or junk email. It is a tested method for providing spam-free email service.
The problem is that most Internet users don’t have a website much less a mail forward. In the previous post it was noted that there is a ratio of about 20 Internet users for every web page. So the average Internet user has no way to leave contact information on the Internet for others to contact them without publicly posting their email address and exposing themselves to spammers.
This is where Yougler helps. Yougler is, among other things, a form mail page or mail forward. With Yougler you can leave your contact information on the Internet with a Yougler Internet Profile page where others can reach you without exposing your email address. Yougler then forwards the message to your email address that is hidden and secure on the Yougler server. Just like a mail forward. Not only that, Yougler is a portable mail forward, meaning you can use it almost anywhere.
The beauty of Yougler is that instead of using an email address like pete@yougler.com you leave a link like yougler.com/pete. This link is to my Yougler mail forward page. Try it. It provides spam-free email because there is no exposed email address. Even better, to send me a message, Yougler requires the sender to enter some graphically generated text to make sure the sender is not an automated bot.
Yougler is free so give it try at this link. Put your contact information out there where others can reach you and stop worrying about getting spam email.
