A profile is a web page that you create with Yougler. This page has content that you provide when you set it up by clicking CREATE.
Like all web pages your profile page has an address known as a URL (Uniform Resource Locator).
A profil’s URL is composed of two parts.
- The domain name– Yougler.com
- and the User name– /YOURUSERNAME
There is no suffix like .htm or .html and remember that the Yougler URL always start with http:// (the www is optional). The full, formal URL is http://www.yougler.com/YOURUSERNAME. If you are typing in the address into a browser you can skip everything before Yougler. If you aree embedding your profile link into a web page or comment you must use the whole address.
One of my Yougler profiles is “pete” so my Yougle profile URL for “pete” would be yougler.com/pete or more formally http://yougler.com/pete.
