Yesterday we deactivated the Mailroom function at Yougler. It was a bit more complicated than it was worth. Now emails AND their contents are sent directly to the user email account for White Pages Profiles. If the White Pages user replies to the email, the reply will be sent with their return email address. Blogger Profile users get an email with a link to the message and then if they reply, it will have their return address too. It is simpler this way and if the email warrants a reply then it should be safe enough to use the real email address as the return address.

Users can just as easily manage their messages in the their on inbox so the Mailroom wasn’t offering anything irreplaceable. Besides few users were using it
Yougler is not an email service provider but a way for Internet users to get email from their Internet Profiles without getting spammed. We need to stay focussed on what we are and not try to be everything to everybody. I read something somewhere years ago and I can’t remember who said it, maybe it was William (Bill) Hewlett of HP. Paraphrasing, he said, “A business is much more likely to die from indigestion than starvation.”
